"Journey to the Celestial"
(2019) This was a short story I wrote for a fiction writing competition outside of school. The requirement was that the work had to begin with the first sentence provided as the writing prompt, which was "The inside was dark."
"A Dream Away"
(2012) This was a short story done for an undergraduate fiction writing workshop. It is based off of true events, with a bit of a fiction twist. An expression of love, loss, and renewal.
"Subject vs. Object"
(2012) This was a project done for an undergraduate fiction writing workshop. It depicts the differences in points-of-view. The goal of the essay is to show a conflict happening through the eyes of an inanimate object acting as an onlooker. The first part is the conflict portrayed in the subject's POV, which is a human. The second part portrays the same conflict, only through the POV of the inanimate object, which is a body of water.
